My areas of interest include the selection of “Good Technology” for teaching & learning, media selection for distance learning, visual literacy, best practices in online delivery of instruction, blended learning, hand-held technology, video production, and workplace technology,
I maintain that the goal of technology is to make life easier (or more efficient). That being said, I’ve see many times where people have become excited about new solutions and neglect to ask themselves how it will improve teaching & learning, reduce workload, or make their lives funner. This may result in the reverse – making things more complex. I doubt most people need more complicated lives.
